Service
Chameleon is an AI-assisted study tool. We generate tutorials, flashcards and quizzes from materials you upload, using third-party AI models. Generated content may contain inaccuracies; always verify against the original source before using it in assessment.
Eligibility
Chameleon is intended for university students and other adult learners. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have the consent of a parent or guardian to use the service.
Acceptable use
- You may upload only material you have the right to use (own work, openly licensed material, or material your institution authorises).
- You may not use the service to generate, store, or distribute content that is unlawful, harassing, or designed to defraud or cheat in proctored assessments.
- You may not attempt to circumvent rate limits, scrape, or otherwise abuse the service.
Intellectual property
You retain all rights in materials you upload. We claim no ownership over generated tutorials / flashcards / quizzes derived from your materials — they are yours. We retain ownership of the application itself and the generation pipelines.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is". AI-generated content is probabilistic and may be incorrect, incomplete, or inappropriate for your assessment context. Use at your own risk and judgement.
Limitation of liability
The limitation-of-liability provisions are being finalised with legal counsel ahead of public launch. The final liability cap will be published here.
Termination
You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a risk to the service or other users.
